Upon reviewing the links below, listed to provide aid when working with statistical analysis, I was surprised by the plethora of options available to use to compute statistical analysis. I reviewed www.masseyrating.com, an article listed on the Sports Analysis Blog titles "Selecting a Pitcher in the DFS," and a the site www.statistics101.com, and found an interesting variety of information out there regarding using statistics. The massey rating site was fun, as users can select their sport of choice and look at the stats of a team, or of a game. The article, "Selecting a Pitcher in the DFS," was interesting to me as a non-baseball fan, as I had no idea the variety of statistical analysis that you could use too rank a pitcher. I knew that baseball is a game of stats, however I had not idea that the pitcher alone had so many different equations that could be used to rank him/her. The statistics101 site is a software that is available that is designed as a learning to help understand and apply statistics and probability. This is a user friendly software that many professionals use to apply statistics and to learn about the applications.
